Cash Flow

The timing of money moving in and out — you can be “fine on paper” and still short on Thursday if the timing is wrong.

Cash flow is the rhythm of income arriving and expenses leaving. A month can be profitable in total and still contain a broke Thursday, because rent left before pay arrived. That timing gap — not overspending — causes a large share of overdrafts and BNPL reliance.

Managing cash flow means knowing what lands when: which bills hit before the next pay, which after. Forecasting a fortnight ahead turns most "surprises" into scheduled events.

Owdyn’s cashflow forecast projects your balance forward so the tight days are visible a week early.
