How to create your Owdyn account

After this guide, you'll be able to: Create and secure your Owdyn account, ready to add your first account.

Go to owdyn.com and click "Get started"
Head to owdyn.com in your browser. On the homepage, click the "Get started for free" button. You'll be taken to the sign-up page.

Choose your sign-up method
You can sign up with Google (one click, no password needed) or with an email and password. If you use Google, your account is linked to your Google identity — you'll always sign in via the "Continue with Google" button.
If you choose email and password, pick a strong password you don't use elsewhere. Owdyn does not currently support two-factor authentication, so your password is your main line of defence.
If you use a password manager (recommended), let it generate a strong random password for Owdyn.

Verify your email address
If you signed up with email, check your inbox for a verification email from Owdyn. Click the link inside to confirm your address. The link is valid for 24 hours.
If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. You can request a new verification email from the sign-in page.

Sign in and complete your profile
Once verified, sign in at owdyn.com. You'll be taken to the dashboard. You can optionally set your name and preferred currency in Settings — Owdyn defaults to NZD, which is correct for most New Zealand users.

What happens next

Your account is ready. The next step is to add your first bank account or credit card so Owdyn has data to work with.
