How to export a CSV from ANZ online banking

After this guide, you'll be able to: Download a transaction history CSV from ANZ that's ready to import into Owdyn.

Published 21 April 2026

  1. 1

Log in to ANZ internet banking

Go to anz.co.nz and log in. Use your Customer Number and password.

  2. 2

    Go to Statements

From the account summary page, click "Statements" in the left menu or the account name to access transaction history.

  3. 3

    Set the date range

Select the account you want to export from. Choose the date range — for a first import, 2–3 months gives a useful baseline. Click "Search" to load the transactions.

  4. 4

    Export as CSV

Look for the "Export" or "Download" button above the transaction list. Select "CSV" or "Spreadsheet" as the format. The file will download to your computer.

ANZ CSV exports use DD/MM/YYYY date format. Owdyn detects this automatically during the column mapping step.

  5. 5

    Import the file into Owdyn

In Owdyn, go to the account matching your ANZ account and tap "Import transactions". Upload the CSV file and follow the wizard.
