How to export ANZ NZ transactions as CSV

After this guide, you'll be able to: download your ANZ NZ transaction history as a CSV file and import it into Owdyn

Before you start: You'll need access to ANZ Internet Banking at anz.co.nz on a desktop browser.

Published 30 April 2026

  1. 1

Log in to ANZ Internet Banking

Go to anz.co.nz and click Log in to internet banking. Enter your customer number and password. Complete 2FA if prompted.

ANZ Go Money (mobile app) does not support CSV export. Use the full desktop site at anz.co.nz.

  2. 2

    Select your account

From the accounts summary, click the account you want to export — ANZ Access Advantage, Online Call, or a credit card account.

  3. 3

    Open Transaction History

Click Transactions or Transaction History within the account view. ANZ loads a paginated list — you'll need to set a date range to get the full history.

  4. 4

    Set your date range

Use the From and To date fields. ANZ supports up to 12 months of history. For a first import, 3 months is a practical starting point.

  5. 5

    Export as CSV

Click Export above the transaction list. Select CSV (sometimes labelled "Spreadsheet (CSV)"). Click Export or Download — the file saves to your downloads folder.

  6. 6

    Import into Owdyn

In Owdyn, go to Accounts, select the matching account, click Import CSV, and upload the ANZ file. Review the preview and confirm.

What happens next

ANZ transactions will appear in your Owdyn transaction list, categorised and ready to budget against. The column format and date format are handled automatically.
