How to update an account balance

After this guide, you'll be able to: Correct an account balance so your net worth and Safe-to-Spend stay accurate.

Open the account
Tap the account name in the Accounts list to open the account detail view.

Tap "Edit" or the pencil icon
On the account detail view, tap the edit button (pencil icon or "Edit account"). The account editing form opens.

Update the balance and save
Change the current balance field to the correct figure from your online banking or statement. Tap Save. The change is applied immediately and flows through to net worth and Safe-to-Spend.
If you're regularly importing CSVs, your balance should stay accurate automatically. Manual balance updates are mainly useful for cash accounts or accounts you're not importing.
