Name your goal and set a target
The most important thing about a savings goal is that it's specific. "Save more money" doesn't work. "Emergency fund — $5,000" does. Specificity creates commitment.
Go to Goals in the main menu and tap "+ New Goal". Give it a name that means something to you — "House deposit", "Trip to Japan", "Three months of expenses" — and set the total amount you're aiming for.
Not sure how much to save? For an emergency fund, aim for 3 months of essential expenses. For a holiday, use a realistic estimate based on where you want to go.
